Head Coach Sheldon Grizzle

We are excited to announce that Sheldon Grizzle will be our CSTHEA Middle School Girl’s Soccer Coach!
Coach Grizzle has been a lifelong soccer player, coach, and promoter of this beautiful game. He is currently engaged in the soccer community through serving on the boards of Chattanooga FC, Chattanooga FC Foundation, and Chattanooga FC Academy. He was the founding President of the Highland Park Commons, and is now helping spearhead the creation of three new fields at Montague Park for the Chattanooga FC Foundation.
Some of his soccer career accomplishments include: - Co-founder of Chattanooga FC - Player for Chattanooga FC (2009) - Two time NAIA All American at Covenant College - 54 goals scored during collegiate career - Second in career goals in Florida high school history (172)
Sheldon and his wife, Kelly, have lived in Highland Park for 17 years. They have two children attending Ingleside Tutorial, Naomi (12) and Micah (9), and their youngest, Jude (7), attends Battle Academy. When not on the soccer fields, the Grizzles can be found on the mountains and in the creeks around the region. They are also highly involved in a new church plant in Highland Park called Mosaic Fellowship.
As the head coach, Sheldon's philosophy will be focused on growing each player's love and respect for the game. He will do this through creating a team culture that is fun, engaging, creative, respectful, and challenging.
